David is a member of the Practice Area IT & Telecoms. He advises national and international clients on IT-contracts as well as software licensing, data protection and telecommunications law, and legal issues dealing with gaming.
David studied law at the universities of Bonn, Münster and Düsseldorf. As a trainee lawyer, David worked with a focus on information technology and intellectual property law for the Düsseldorf office of a leading international law firm, and the Administration of the Federal German Parliament. In 2011 David earned his master’s degree in intellectual property law from the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle, USA.
From 2006 to 2009 David worked as a research associate at the Center for Information and Technology Law of the University of Düsseldorf. After he took his second state exam in 2009, David became the executive manager of the Düsseldorf Law School. David joined our firm’s Hamburg office in 2011.
David is a native German speaker, and fluent in English.
