Claudia Alfons is a member of the Practice Area Commercial Agreements & Dispute Resolution, where she advises companies in all industries on complex national and international legal issues with a particular focus on energy management and energy law. Her activities include both contract design and legal representation in litigation matters.
After graduating from Freiburg Law School, Claudia Alfons joined the dispute resolution group of an international law firm while working on her doctoral thesis on international arbitration law. During her legal internship she focused on energy law, working inter alia at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Energy and with a major German power supplier, whose legal counsel she became later on. In this function she primarily dealt with energy and regulatory law. Claudia Alfons joined Taylor Wessing in 2012.
Mother tongue: German. Fluent in English. Good knowledge of French.
