Taylor Wessing is a European law firm with some 750 lawyers in total and offices in Berlin, Brussels, Cambridge, Dubai, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, London, Munich and Paris in our home market, as well as a long-established representative office in Shanghai and Alicante.
We recognise how critical it is for us to work together for our international clients in an integrated manner across jurisdictions. In response to this need, in recent years we have developed systematic training and secondment programmes between our offices and with clients – all of which have helped us deliver a commercially oriented, seamless, service.
While we continue to grow in size, we like to feel we have retained our reputation as a friendly, open and approachable firm. Here, our lawyers reflect on our journey to integration and future development of our firm.

We realise that our clients do not want to be told what they cannot do, but rather how they can reach their goal. We are used to working alongside our clients to find creative and innovative solutions, often adding substantial value to a transaction or getting a favourable outcome in a court case, against the odds.

Pro-active - We seek to provide solutions not obstacles; we do not prepare documents in a vacuum and are not slaves to a precedent system.
Pragmatic - Whilst always giving our clients what we believe to be the best legal solution, we are mindful of commercial realities. We do not argue legal points for their own sake or over-engineer advice.
Forward looking - Many transactions are stepping-stones to larger ones, so we will always seek to highlight actions that could obstruct future expansion. To do this, we try to ensure that we have a sound understanding of your business objectives to help you reach your future more swiftly and securely.
