Investing in the Community
Taylor Wessing is committed to continuing to make a positive contribution to the communities in which we work and live. We believe this is an integral part of the firm's life and it is a key element of our UK strategy for 2004 to 2008.
We contribute in a variety of ways, with time and expertise, as well as giving money to charities and organisations in need of support in our community. We believe that everyone has something to offer.
We recognise that people may choose to make individual contributions to charitable initiatives of their own and we seek to support these, but we also aim to provide a co-ordinated programme which enables members of the firm to work together in support of others.
We focus on three main community initiatives:
Our charities and pro bono committees and pro bono coordinator work to achieve these aims. Our charities committee, made up of volunteers from across the firm, develops and implements our strategy for charitable giving and fundraising. Our pro bono committee encourages and oversees pro bono work in the firm.
